The conference is organized by KGTESOL English Language Teachers’ Association and Aktif-Ilim, a non-commercial organization with support from the U.S. Embassy in Bishkek.


The topic of the conference is "TESOL methodology” with the major themes in Media Literacy in the Classroom, Integrated Language Skills through Effective Activities, Critical and Problem-Solving Skills, Creative Writing in Teaching English, Reflective Teaching, Learning Style Differences, Professional Development in the field of TESOL, Classroom Practices: Successes and Challenges. The conference features international and local speakers and presenters, including four US State Department English Language Fellows - highly qualified educators from universities in the US.
